Nach\u00e1z\u00ed se ve stylov\u00e9m dom\u011b, kter\u00fd od roku 1890 pat\u0159il bratr\u016fm Carlovi a Gerhartovi Hauptmannov\u00fdm. Charisma v\u00fdznamn\u00fdch spisovatel\u016f zp\u016fsobilo, \u017ee se kolem jejich domu za\u010dala sdru\u017eovat aktivn\u00ed um\u011bleck\u00e1 kolonie, kter\u00e1 po roce 1922 z\u00edskala form\u00e1ln\u00ed podobu Spolku svatoluk\u00e1\u0161sk\u00fdch um\u011blc\u016f (K\u00fcnstlervereinigung St. Lukas in Ober-Schreiberhau).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">St\u00e1l\u00e1 expozice muzea p\u0159ibli\u017euje jak osobnosti majitel\u016f vily, tak i ot\u00e1zky um\u011bleck\u00e9ho \u017eivota m\u011bsta v p\u0159edv\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e9 a pov\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e9 dob\u011b. Jej\u00ed sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed je tak\u00e9 prezentace skl\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdch v\u00fdrobk\u016f, kter\u00e9 se v minulosti ve Szklarsk\u00e9 Por\u0119b\u011b vyr\u00e1b\u011bly. Historie m\u011bsta je krom\u011b t\u011b\u017eby drah\u00fdch kamen\u016f a kov\u016f od sam\u00e9ho po\u010d\u00e1tku spojena s v\u00fdrobou skla. Prvn\u00ed skl\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e1 hu\u0165, nejstar\u0161\u00ed v\u00a0dne\u0161n\u00edch polsk\u00fdch Sudetech (u na\u0161ich severn\u00edch soused\u016f je vn\u00edm\u00e1no horopisn\u011b \u2013 pozn. p\u0159ekladatele), zde vznikla kolem poloviny 14. stolet\u00ed. Rozvoji tohoto \u0159emesla v\u00a0\u00fadol\u00ed Czesk\u00e9 Strugy napomohl dostatek pot\u0159ebn\u00fdch surovin: k\u0159emene a bukov\u00e9ho d\u0159eva. Masivn\u00ed t\u011b\u017eba d\u0159eva vedla k p\u0159esunu hut\u00ed do st\u00e1le vy\u0161\u0161\u00edch parti\u00ed hor. To bylo ekonomicky v\u00fdhodn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e p\u0159eprava surovin a ovlivnilo to rozvoj \u201eko\u010dovn\u00e9ho\u201c typu skl\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdch hut\u00ed. Ve st\u0159edov\u011bk\u00fdch skl\u00e1rn\u00e1ch se tavilo tzv. lesn\u00ed sklo (vitrium silvestre) nebo horsk\u00e9 sklo (vitrum montanum) s n\u00edzkou pr\u016fhlednost\u00ed zp\u016fsobenou zne\u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00edm popelem a \u010detn\u00fdmi vzduchov\u00fdmi bublinkami a m\u00edrn\u011b nazelenalou barvou (odtud n\u00e1zev: \u201ezelen\u00e9 sklo\u201c).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rychle rostouc\u00ed obliba v\u00fdrobk\u016f ze Szklarsk\u00e9 Por\u0119by byla pro rodinu Schaffgotsch\u016f \u2013 majitel\u016f tohoto panstv\u00ed \u2013 podn\u011btem ke zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00ed po\u010dtu v\u00fdrobn\u00edch podnik\u016f. V roce 1575 byla v \u00fadol\u00ed potoka Czeska Struga zalo\u017eena prvn\u00ed modern\u00ed skl\u00e1rna, kterou vedl Hans Friedrich, v roce 1617 vznikla skl\u00e1rna ve\u00a0Weissbachtalu (dne\u0161n\u00ed Bia\u0142a Dolina), kterou zalo\u017eil Wolfgang Preussler, a v roce 1754 byla zalo\u017eena skl\u00e1rna Carlsthal (osada Orle). Na po\u010d\u00e1tku 19. stolet\u00ed byly v osad\u011b dv\u011b\u00a0skl\u00e1rny a 26 brus\u00edren a v\u011bt\u0161ina obyvatel byla zam\u011bstn\u00e1na ve skl\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9 v\u00fdrob\u011b.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">V roce 1841 zah\u00e1jila provoz nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed a nejslavn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed skl\u00e1rna v historii m\u011bsta, skl\u00e1rna Josephine (fungovala a\u017e do konce druh\u00e9 sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky, po v\u00e1lce obnovila v\u00fdrobu pod n\u00e1zvem skl\u00e1rna Julia). Sv\u00fdm sortimentem exkluzivn\u00edch v\u00fdrobk\u016f z k\u0159i\u0161\u0165\u00e1lov\u00e9ho skla se proslavila po cel\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b. Zbo\u017e\u00ed se vyr\u00e1b\u011blo ze skla barven\u00e9ho ve hmot\u011b \u2013 rub\u00ednov\u00e9ho, alabastrov\u00e9ho, kobaltov\u00e9ho &#8211; a bylo bohat\u011b zdobeno brou\u0161en\u00edm, ryt\u00edm a grav\u00edrov\u00e1n\u00edm v souladu s aktu\u00e1ln\u00edmi um\u011bleck\u00fdmi trendy. V\u011bhlas produkt\u016f upevnila \u00fa\u010dast na sv\u011btov\u00fdch pr\u016fmyslov\u00fdch v\u00fdstav\u00e1ch v Lond\u00fdn\u011b, Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017ei a
