Die Besucher erwartet u.a. eine reiche historisch-ethnographische Ausstellung zum Thema Handwerk.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Stadt Jilemnice (dt. Starkenbach) war jahrhundertelang ein wichtiges Zentrum der handwerklichen Tradition im westlichen Riesengebirge. Bereits im 16. Jh. bl\u00fchte hier Leinenweberei. Den H\u00f6hepunkt der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung erreichte die Stadt gegen Ende des 18. \/ Anfang des 19. Jh. Die hiesigen Erzeugnisse konnten mit den besten Produkten auf fernen europ\u00e4ischen M\u00e4rkten konkurrieren. Die hoch entwickelte Tradition der Weberei belegen hochwertige Webereien, Musterb\u00fccher, handgemachte Weberschiffchen, Webst\u00fchle oder andere Ger\u00e4tschaften f\u00fcr die Verarbeitung von Flachs.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das breite Spektrum des lokalen Handwerks belegen zahlreiche Schnitzereien, Schlosserei-Erzeugnisse, Produkte aus Holz und Wachs, aber auch seltene Zunft-Ger\u00e4tschaften wie Laden, Kannen, Wappen oder Gem\u00e4lde. Besonders erw\u00e4hnenswert ist eine Sammlung von 33 Sargschildern sowie Grabfackeln der \u00f6rtlichen Z\u00fcnfte. Diese stammen aus der 1. H\u00e4lfte des 19. Jh. und wurden aus Samt sowie aus teilweise vergoldetem Silberblech hergestellt.
