VITBIS is a family business that is the largest manufacturer of Christmas tree baubles in Poland. Its main advantage is the traditional methods of glass blowing and hand-painting. Currently, it employs about 200 qualified workers and produces about 200,000 baubles annually.

The life of the glass ornaments begins in the blowing department, where burners heat the glass pipes red hot. At a temperature of approx. 650°C glass yields to modling, thanks to which an experienced blower can create any shape. When the shell cools down, it goes to the paint department, where silver nitrate is injected inside. That, along with the mirror effect, gives a unique depth to the colour of the bauble. Baubles get various colours depending on customer needs. The colour palette is adjusted to the prevailing trends every year.

Once the glass balls get their base colour, they move on to the decorating room. Experienced decorators are able to apply the most complex ornamental patterns to the bauble. Work on the collections continues throughout the year. The company has a separate department responsible for developing new designs based on current trends.

Every year, VITBIS takes part in the largest Christmas fair in the world – the Christmasworld in Frankfurt.
